I really did enjoy this book. In the same way you can love an over-the-top action movie that skips past logic for the sake of spectacle, Heavenbreaker delivers raw, fast-paced fun. It’s like Gundam meets high fantasy with a splash of Evangelion—where space knights duel in giant mech suits powered by a strange, possibly alien, intelligence. The story follows Synali Hauteclare, a bastard noble with a score to settle. And she’s settling it one brutal space joust at a time.
